Rail Group Leader
Job Description:
Responsibilities will include rail services business development; administration and development of rail group staff; project management; planning and design of rail projects; and quality control. Work will include coordination with other groups within GBA including Marketing, Traffic, Bridges / Structural, Highways / Roadways, Storm Drainage, Environmental, Site Development, and Transit & Fleet Works.
Requirements:
BSCE or related field
PE or ability to obtain PE within one year
10 years experience with railroad design and project management
Willingness and ability to work with clients on complex, demanding projects
Proven business development skills
Proven leadership and mentoring skills
Working relationships with Major Railroads is desired (CDM-3)
Civil Engineer (Municipal Street Design)
We are looking for a candidate with 0-3 years of experience in the area of municipal street design. Candidate will participate in the design of urban arterials and collectors, residential streets, and county roadways. MicroStation/GEOPAK experience helpful, but not required. (CDM-1)
Civil Engineer (Railroad Design)
We are looking for a candidate with 0-3 years of experience in the area of railroad engineering. The candidate will participate in track design, conceptual design, grade separations, grade crossings, bridges/culverts, vegetation control documentation, field inspection, and track standardization. MicroStation/AutoCad experience required. (CDM-4)
AutoCAD Drafter/Design Technician (Storm Water/Environmental Group)
We are looking for an AutoCAD Drafter/Design Technician with 0-4 years of experience wanting to work in the water resources and environmental fields. Prior experience working with Land Desktop, Civil 3D, and Arcview/GIS is a plus. This individual will be working in our Water Environment Group completing work in the areas of civil, water resources and environmental engineering. Position includes drafting for a variety of projects including but not limited to construction drawings/specifications, environmental reports, exhibit preparation, record drawing development and assisting with engineering designs. Intern Architect (Transit & Fleet Works)
We are looking for an architect or architectural engineer with architecture as focus. This individual should preferably have 3-5 years of experience. AutoCAD skills required. Revit or another form of 3D a plus. (RCW-4)
Intern Architect (Critical Facilities Group)
We are looking for an Architect with 0 to 3 years of experience to be a part of a highly motivated team in a fast-paced environment. This position is in our Critical Facilities Group (CFG). The CFG is a collaboration of architects, mechanical, electrical, structural, civil and fire protection engineers. We provide full design services for nationally recognized telecommunications companies and clients who have critical, zero-down-time facility needs. This group also conducts studies, troubleshooting, and commissioning of 24x7 facilities.
Candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance, to travel and to work overtime when required.
