The Livestock Marketing Association’s 21,100 sf single-story corporate headquarters located in Ambassador Park, Kansas City, Missouri. 

The simple rectangular floor plate provides generous flexible work environment for future growth potential. The main lobby incorporates a large ledgestone fireplace and utilizes an open siteline from the front entry through to the back of the building, all articulated in the prairie style.

The building includes boardroom facilities and food service area for out of town visiting membership. A connecting walkway provides direct access from conferencing functions to the outdoor patio and grill. The main entry round-about allows convenient visitor drop off, just minutes from the airport.

An energy-efficient geothermal heating and cooling system is perhaps the most unique feature of the new building. Designed to maintain a constant year-round temperature of 69 degrees F., it works by exchanging heat from the ground into water run through pipes drilled deep into the earth. The system is expected to pay for itself in just five to seven years.
